Pengaruh Media Digital Educaplay Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPAS Siswa Kelas III SDN Pelang Lor 1

This study aims to determine the effect of Educaplay digital media on the science (IPAS) learning outcomes of third-grade students at SDN Pelang Lor 1 on the topic of Indonesia’s diverse landscapes. The study was motivated by the low science learning outcomes, in which 36 out of 62 students (58%) had not yet achieved the minimum mastery criteria, due to the dominance of conventional teaching methods that left students passive and disengaged. A quantitative approach with a true experimental design using a pretest-posttest control group design was employed. The sample consisted of 62 students: 30 in the experimental class receiving Educaplay-assisted learning and 32 in the control class receiving conventional instruction. The research instrument consisted of 30 multiple-choice items that had undergone validity, reliability, difficulty level, and discriminating power tests. Data were analyzed using the Kolmogorov–Smirnov normality test, Levene homogeneity test, Paired Sample t-Test, and Independent Sample t-Test with IBM SPSS 24. The results showed that the average posttest score of the experimental class (79.40) was significantly higher than the control class (66.13). The Independent Sample t-Test yielded a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, thus H₀ was rejected and Hₐ was accepted. Therefore, it is concluded that the use of Educaplay digital media significantly and effectively improves the science learning outcomes of third-grade students at SDN Pelang Lor 1.
